Patriotism

It's always this patriotic month of the year that we would have

The election of a committee
The brainstorming session which most of the people don't really care.
The unfinished lines and plot and the overdue script.
The 20 minutes travel from the class to the dewan.
Last minute rehearsals with unchoreographed moves.
Actors/ Actresses that are scattered everywhere in all directions but not on the stage.
Inattentive people with their heads burried in books and homeworks.
Props that are forever missing or was never there.
A tired radio playing the same old tracks repeatedly.
Actors/Actresses that wasn't paying attention and was slow by half a beat.
The despair, anger and stress of the director.
Meetings and discussions through msn or after school.
Unfinished touch ups that seem to increase by the second.

and yet
we'll miraculously manage to

Grab full attention of the whole dewan throughout the performance.
Pick up some humour and spontanuity from our leading actors and actresses.
Hear the laughter of the audience.
Actually get the whole performance done.
Earn quite a number of compliments and praises.
Have fun despite the misery of the rehearsals.

Don't know about the others but through all this I've developed this patriotism and attachment towards our class ever since our first debut, "Leftenan Adnan".
Yea, sure there is all the last minute preparations and attitude problems, but hey
It's OUR thing and I think it would be totally different without it.It makes us, US.

I was, still am , will still be a part of all this, and
I miss all of this and all of you so much.
