Nokia? Sony Erricson?

I want a new handphone.
A camera handphone. So I can take photos for my bloggie.
The one I have now is a third-hand-pass-me-down. Old. Battery always dying.
Would like to post a photo of it, but that requires using the camera.
I'ts troublesome.
The more the reason I should get a new phone.
Grr.

Internet is back!

Yay! Internet connection back again. Some of you might noticed but the whole of last week I wasn't online at all. Because my modem went literally KABOOM! It was my fault.

* Last Monday *
Jia Wei was typing her moral assignment "essay" on the Solutions to war while onlining.
It rained heavily and it was thundering. Jia Wei ignored the thundering and continued typing despite being aware of the risks. Then it happened.

* BOOM!!*
*Click!*
Right after the "click" sound a window appeared.

You are disconnected from the Internet. Reconnecting in 60 seconds.

Jia Wei : " What the hell?!"
Jia Wei couldn't connect to the internet anymore. The modem was burnt.... broken. There were more complications but lazy to type it lah.

So 1 week passed by (it wasn't easy) and now everything is quite repaired. So here am I blogging again!

So the important lesson here : Never go online when there's a thunderstorm no matter how important it is - or face the consequences. Do not underestimate the power of NATURE.

1st Lab session

Today we had our 1st chemistry lab session.
We did titration ! ( Claps hand with the Pn Chin face.)
It was dead boring and I was half asleep the whole session.
The only cool thing was all the apparatus and materials (nice and clean) were already on the table for us ( prepared by lab assistants) and we all wore lab coats.
I liked the orange colour of the neutral solution! ( we used methyl orange )
Practically thats it.

Chain mails..
I don't get why they just have to curse you at the end.
Might as well don't wish me at the beginning.
It doesn't matter anyway.
I've deleted enough chain mails to have bad luck / the worst valentines day for my entire life.
I'm still very contented with my single life = )

Just exactly last year a guy finally picked the courage and talked to a girl for the first time after 5 years.
She smiled at him.
I think she was waiting for him.

Photos

Photos are so amazing. They stop your time. They capture your youth.
Pity it doesn't remembers your mental thoughts.
I wonder why I've never been able to smile properly when I was younger. My mouth would just curve downwards in photos.
The thing that I'm most curious about is why didn't my parents asked me to smile.
So weird.

The Pond and the Frogs

I remember in form 2 almost the whole class used to play a game in one whole group that goes like this:

The 1st person says: " One little frog"
2nd person : " Jump to (into) the pond "
3rd person : " Oink"
Next person :" 2 little frogs "
Next person no 2 : " 2 little frogs "
Next person no 3 : " Jump to ( into) the pond "
Next person no 4 : " Jump to ( into ) the pond "
Next person no 5 : " Oink "
Next person no 6 : "Oink"

And it goes on to 3, 4, 5..... frogs followed by the" jump to the pond" and "oink".
I bet this game is gaining popularity in Perak now. No. Whole of Malaysia.

4 frogs jumped into the pond lately.
One of the frog used to be a duck but claimed that it itself was the "ugly duckling" of its own group. Abandoned. Unwanted. Alone.
Poor ugly duckling ( now frog). The rulers of the pond welcomed it to the pond community. Abundance of food and resources.
The ducks were angry and shocked. The whole animal kingdom in fact.
" How could a duck transform into a FROG!!? This is WRONG!!It defies nature!! "

Yes.
The pond.... a very dangerous and mysterious place. It's waters are deep and dark... contains lots of hidden danger. It has a powerful whirlpool that tries to suck more animals in.
Most mysterious and cunning of them all was the RULER. Most of the time.... it's nowhere to be found. But it has plenty of tricks behind its sleeves.
I think they have a group of tadpoles that is readily growing into frogs.
Such manipulaters the pond community are.

Soon the whole earth will be in control of the pond.
The ducks can hardly do anything.
The other animals are angry.
But it seems that we have no chance do we?

Maths lesson

I learned a very important lesson today.
NEVER ever ask my part-time-and-maternity-loving maths lecturer any MATH questions.
You'll get scolded for asking too many questions or for not being 'SMART' enough.
I'd rather have him scold us for not asking any (maths) questions. ( ahh the irony )
I really agree with his son's suggestion.
He should go back to university to study maths all over again-just for the fun.
He'll get all the fun for being the perfect maths person.
It'll do all of us a great favour.
We'll be so proud.

Lullabye

I would like to have a lullabye that sings me to sleep everynight.
And as soon as the lullabye finishes I would fall asleep nice and sound and warm and dreamless.
Just like a baby.
How I wish life would be as simple as that.
